As some of you may wonder, who is new Doctor following Dr. Jassal around? To introduce myself, I am Dr. Lisa Kim DC, a new addition to the office since January of 2016 and will be working with Dr. Jassal to help more people with chiropractic care. To tell you little about myself, I was a pre-med student when I was attending Simon Fraser University. However, I got disappointed with the types of care that my mom was receiving for her back issues. She had 2 disc surgeries and then was prescribed painkiller after painkiller, was told to take more ibuprofen and have more surgical procedures. She was also told that the type of procedures had no guaranteed outcome, but included possible significant side effects, needless to say, we were devastated with these choices. We then searched for alternative solutions and found chiropractic care. The result that my mom has received from chiropractic care changed her life and changed my life! I quickly decided to change my path to becoming a chiropractor. Soon after making my decision I starting meeting different chiropractors and was shadowing them and finally, decided to attend the Palmer College of Chiropractic, which is where the chiropractic profession all began. I graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa in 2014 as Magnum Cum Laude and decided to practice in Washington State after graduation. I moved to Washington state immediately upon graduation and received DC license of Washington State in 2014 and practiced there for past 2 years. After making up my mind to move back to Canada, I applied for British Columbia license and was credentialed in 2015.

After I came back to Vancouver, I was given an opportunity to join the team of Jassal Chiropractic and is thrilled by it! I love the fact that we really focus our attention to pediatrics, prenatal, and expecting moms! We provide such a gentle adjustments to all of our pediatric patients and make pregnancy much more comfortable for expecting moms. It has been an interesting time since joining the clinic and can’t be happier about it. It was a great decision to join this Vancouver pediatric and pregnancy chiropractic clinic

Currently, I am working to further my education in receiving certification in Torque Release Technique and CACCP which is an intensive 200 hours program under ICPA (International Chiropractic Pediatric Association) to be certified in pediatrics and prenatal care! I have been learning and experiencing so much at Jassal Chiropractic and can’t wait to meet all of you and help you all with chiropractic care!
